Grilled Peri Peri Prawns

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Prep 10 min, plus marinating
Cook 6 min
Serves 4

 

16 unpeeled whole prawns (remove skin based on preference)

 

For the marinade

6 tablespoons of BrazzaKu original or mild Peri Peri sauce
Juice of 1 lime
4 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
1 tsp flaky salt

25ml olive oil

Garnish

1/2 bunch of cilantro freshly chopped

 

1) Whisk together the lime juice, garlic and Brazzaku Peri Peri sauce for the marinade.

2) Toss the prawns into the marinade

3) Sprinkle with the salt, cover and leave at room temperature (unless it’s a very hot day) for an hour.

Prepare the barbecue  with a grill mat to prevent the marinade from dropping through the grate. Once it’s at cooking temperature <500 degress, grill the prawns for 3 minutes each side.

 

Brush with BrazzaKu Peri Peri sauce  and sprinkle cilantro to garnish.

Serve with a side of your favorite grilled vegetables and enjoy!
